Child Protection is part of the safeguarding process, protecting individual children identified as suffering or likely to suffer significant harm.
This includes the child protection procedures, which detail how to respond to concerns about a child.
Welfare
TBSLSC take the welfare of all members very seriously and has adopted the SLSGB safeguarding policy. TBSLSC is committed to the safety and protection of all children involved in all its activities through adherence to safeguarding guidelines adopted by the national organisation.

In an emergency, concerns should be raised with the Police.
In all other cases, any concerns should be by submitting the form details on, which will be forwarded to Club Chair (Glen Mayhew) and the Club Safeguarding officer (Russ Porter). All reports are treated confidentially.
All committee members, coaches and club lifeguards are expected to be DBS checked and to complete SLSGB Safeguarding training.
All parent helpers and coaches will be receiving safeguarding input from the Club Safeguarding Officer.
Please feel free to contact the Club Safeguarding Officer (Sarah Acher) and/or the Deputy Club Safeguarding Officer (Russ Porter) regarding any specific safeguarding issues or concerns. Sarah Acher contact details are on the website and will be posted on the wall inside the club.
